Christina has mentioned that Connor’s Mill in Toodyay is very close to the station and on the short walk into town. It’s very interesting and the Visitor Centre would also have information.
There is a bakery, a number of cafes including Cola Café, which has an amazing collection of Coca Cola items. There are also plenty of craft and op-shops and of course the Christmas Shop! There are four Living History Walks to participate in, which can take between 20 minutes – 60 minutes to walk.
We will gather at the Victoria Hotel for lunch. We will make sure we catch the train on time at 3.01pm as the next train would not be until Monday afternoon!
If you are interested in coming along on this train trip, please let either Christina know christina.343bk@gmail.com or Lesley lesleyhamilton1952@gmail.com by Monday 12th October so we know who to meet on the train and to book lunch for.

Camps

We have two camping trips scheduled each year – one over the new year period, and a second in Autumn.  The Autumn camp is usually scheduled the week after school holiday finishes in April.  These camps have hikes scheduled each day and we often eat together socially. Camps are held predominately in the South West. i.e. Albany, Walpole, Nannup etc.

Social

There are also less formal weekends away organised along with social events throughout the year.

An end of year function is held each year in early December, with a Christmas theme.  At this function our annual club magazine is distributed.
